So you can perform the Good works of God

God has a wonderful and unique plan for your life. He has already prepared you for success.

Some of the attributes you will see in a Christian who is walking in fellowship with the true God:

Love

Love is the very nature of God. We are to manifest God's
love toward others.

Joy

A quality of life rooted in the expectation of receiving good things because we serve
a loving God.

Peace

An inner quietness that is not disturbed by surrounding
rage and conflict.

Galations 5:22-23 (REV)

"But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

Patience

The ability to continue pressing on when results are not immediate.

Kindness

Having a generous, warm-hearted nature toward others, including strangers.

Goodness

Not looking to deceive or betray others. Rather, having a passion to care for
those in need.

Questions & Answers

Perhaps the quickest way to understanding the heart of this ministry

The Bible contains a vast amount of riches within its pages.  I love to study it.  But we must not be content with an educational knowledge of the scriptures.  It is through the application of them in our daily lives that we experience true fruit from the Bible.  My desire is to see people live for God rather than just talk about him.

To help people build a personal relationship with God as their father and Jesus Christ as their lord.  Furthermore, to assist them in their discovery of God’s plan for their life so they can perform the good works that God has called them to do.

I support all denominations who acknowledge God our father and Jesus Christ as our lord.  My desire is that Christians would come together in unity underneath the umbrella of Jesus Christ, whom God has designated as head of the entire church.

Like everyone else, I do not agree with all of the doctrine being taught by all Christian denominations.  Rather than focus on these areas of disagreement, my preference is that we focus on God’s unconditional love and endeavor to work together.  I do not negate a person’s ministry simply because they are, or are not, associated with a particular denomination.

In the end, each of us will be answering to God as an individual for what we did and didn’t choose to do in this world.  And so, our personal responsibility should always be first and foremost to him.

That man is born into this world in sin and in need of a savior.  God responded to this need by sending his Son, Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ, as a man, chose of his own free will to lay down his life.  He was severely beaten and crucified unto death.  Three days later God raised him from the dead.

Jesus Christ is now seated at the right hand of God, having been designated by him to serve as head of the entire church.  By confessing Jesus as lord and believing that God raised him from the dead, we obtain eternal life.  Our commitment henceforth is to serve God by acknowledging Jesus Christ as our Lord and being obedient to his personal directions for our life.

The Bible, as it was originally written, is the revealed word and will of God.

I believe the Bible, as it was originally written, to be the inspired word and will of God.  As such, here is a list of benefits for the person who chooses to read, study, ponder, memorize and believe its truths:

  1. It allows us to get to know our creator. Who he is, what his attributes are, what he has accomplished, how powerful he is and, perhaps most importantly, what his intentions are for mankind.  1 John 1:5 says that “God is light.”  1 John 4:8 and 4:16 tell us that “God is love.”  This, along with so many verses like it, help us to understand the true nature of God.
  2. There are a huge number of promises recorded in the Bible. Every time we read a promise from God in scripture, we can be sure that if we will walk out in faith on that promise, God will surely bring it to pass.
  3. When a person confesses Jesus Christ as their Lord and believes in their heart that God raised him from the dead, they receive inherent, spiritual ability that the natural man does not have. It is by reading the church epistles (Romans, Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians and Thessalonians) that we are given detailed information about these abilities.  As an example, there are nine specific manifestations of that spirit mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11.
  4. The scriptures greatly assist Christians in being able to separate truth from error. When a so-called Christian leader tells us something, how can we be sure that what we have been told is true knowledge and wisdom from God, or deception from the world?  In Acts 17:11 we see an example where a group of believers listened to what leadership was teaching them.  But then they went back to the Bible to verify whether or not what they were being taught was true.
  5. Combined with a personal relationship with God and the mentoring of other Christians, the scriptures guide us into understanding what God’s personal desire and will is for our life.
  6. The vast number of stories written in scripture serve as a great source of learning, inspiration and encouragement. The Bible is full of examples of people who have been greatly challenged in life and how, by putting their trust in God, were able to overcome those encounters.
  7. It allows us to get to know Jesus Christ.  His coming to earth is prophesied in every book in the Old Testament.  His birth and ministry are described in detail in the four Gospels, along with his arrest, severe punishment, crucifixion and miraculous resurrection from the dead 3 days later.  It is only through Jesus Christ that we can receive eternal life.  The Bible makes it clear that he was the one and only acceptable sacrifice for our sins.  The book of Acts and the church epistles describe Jesus as currently being seated at the right hand of God where he has been appointed as head of the church, to orchestrate the ministries to and for the body of Christ.  Romans 10:9 tells us that we must confess him as our Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead in order to receive salvation.  Although past and future events involving Jesus Christ are prophesied in the stars, the details are all made known to us in the scriptures.

If someone were to offer you a million dollars and all you had to do is commit to never reading, listening to, talking about or choosing to believe anything recorded in the Bible, would you take the money?  How about a billion dollars?  That might give you an idea as to how important this book is!
